Registration for 2017 summer swim team will be as follows. Returning swim team members and their siblings wishing to swim are eligible to register immediately and no later than April 15th in order to provide priority registration. Late registration may result in the loss of your spot on the team. On April 16th the team will be evaluated to see what open spots remain.
The process for filling those spots is as follows:
1. Current or past Pool members who wish to join the team will be placed in any openings from the waiting list that is being maintained. Current or past pool members with new swimmers who want to swim on the Kingfish Team, should contact Lisa Ross at [email protected] to be placed on the waitlist.
2. Non pool members or first time pool members will then be considered for any openings, please email as above . A committee of parent board members in conjunction with the head coach will oversee placements.

Send the following information:
1. Swimmers names and age as of June 1st
2. Have you been a member of the Chevington Woods pool? ( Prior pool members get priority placement on the team)

We have team members from many communities including all Pickerington neighborhoods, Reynoldsburg, Pataskala, and Lancaster areas.
Email your info to Lisa Ross CWK President, at [email protected]. Waiting list will close on April 14th.
We ask that for 2017 that you complete your registration online at https://fs11.formsite.com/Kingfish/form1/index.html. You can choose to pay by credit card, debit card, pay pal or mail a check. The address for mailing a check will display once you choose the option pay by check on the online system. The address to mail a check AFTER you complete your registration is: Jennifer Muszynski at: 8139 Garden Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147. Everyone must complete their registration online regardless of payment choice or your child will NOT appear on our roster or be entered in meets. Thank you for your understanding.
Suit fitting is being scheduled on Thursday, April 27th at Fairfield Elementary from 5:00-7:00pm. Making Waves ( new vendor who bought Aquatic Adventures ) will be on hand for suit fittings, goggles, etc. for purchase. We will use the same Kingfish Custom Suit that we had last year. It is important that you get fitted for this suit at the suit fitting, or before April 30th at Making Waves or you will not be able to order a team suit as they are custom made. Reminder team suits are NOT required, only team caps are required if you wear a swim cap.
All swimmers need an adult family member to volunteer during ALL three regular season home swim meets as well as ONE away meet AND the championship meet if your child is swimming in champs. If you are on vacation during our home meets arrangements to have an alternative can be made with our volunteer coordinators listed below. Volunteers are required to work ½ of the meet in the capacity of timing, scoring, concessions, bullpen or officiating. Volunteers must find their own replacements if they are unable to work a scheduled meet. A listing of jobs for volunteers will be available online at volunteerspot.org and you will receive an email directing you to our account so that you can sign up to work. The team will collect a separate check from each family of $75 before the first meet, no check , your swimmer will not be entered. If you fulfill your family volunteer requirements, we destroy this check at the end of the season, if you do not fulfill your requirement the team will cash the check and place it in our team account. Questions can be directed to Karrie Kreinbrink or Michelle Boder.
Fee Schedule: We try to maintain an excellent staff of talented and experienced adult coaches and talented college and high school age coaches. You fees enable us to pay them well for their hard work and dedication. The fees remain the same as last year. The non-pool member fee listed on the registration form is only available to families who joined the team before 2008 and were “grandfathered in” to the team as non-pool members when we allowed this on our team. Without our pool, we would not have a team. All swimmers joining the Kingfish team are required to be pool members unless you are under the grandfathered option. Any swimmer training with a club or Y team in addition to the Kingfish team is asked to attend a minimum one Kingfish practice session per week.
The pool will open on the last day of school if everything goes as planned, we will schedule a Parent Meeting/Pot luck based on the availability of the facility prior to our first meet and will let you know via email of the date and time of this event after the management determines the optimal time.
